To maximize magic use and mana make these changes:
Rename the default magic.cfg file to magic.old,
Save these lines as ascii file named magic.cfg
Place it in the settlers\config diretory
This will give startting spell cost of 1 mana and will accumulate
mana at a remarkable rate. (I had 2 wineries and 1 small temple and
within a few minutes had over 400 mana points)
This will also increase the duration of the timed spells
You can play with the values of the other CFG files as well but this one
is the most usefull when running low on resources and can use 'heavenly
presents' to add more
