Phantasy Star Collection - Info FAQ
By: EuphorLance

The long awaited Phantasy Star Sega Ages Complation is finally released
in Japan. This game has all four Phantasy Star games on it.

Phantasy Star
Phantasy Star II
PS III: Generations of Doom
Phantasy Star: End of the Mellenium

Phantasy Star Gaiden and Phantasy Star Adventure are NOT included in the
collections pack as previously thought.

When you first turn on the game the Sega Ages logo will come on followed
by the Phantasy Star Collection: Push Start Button screen.

If you don't push start four pictures of the Phantasy Star games will
come on with the release dates. After that it is followed by the
Japanese commercials of all four Phantasy Star games.

Now if you did Push Start then you will come to 3 options.

Game Select
Art Gallery
Options

Options allows you to choose between Mono and Stereo sound. However
this will not effect the game play. Only the music in the Art Gallery
and Game Select Screen.

Art Gallery brings you to two options. Movies and Illustrations.

Movies will allow you to view the Phantasy Star Commercials at will.

Illustrations will bring you to view various pictures from the four
games. In four catagories by the games. You will hear a remixed
version of the music of Camineet on Phantasy Star.

Selecting the Phantasy Star Option will allow you to hear the remixed
version of the dungeon music while view the pictures.

Phantasy Star II will allow you to hear the field music of Motavia.

PS III will allow you to hear the field theme of Landen.

I don't really know what music they play on the Phantasy Star 4 option.

Selecting game select will allow to play the games. New options are now
in the games.

Phantasy Star allows you to pick the Hiragana or Katakana fonts.

Phantasy Star II and PS III allows you to pick the walking speed.

PS III also has four save spots except of two now.

There is no change in Phantasy Star IV.

None of these games have loading time execept for Phantasy Star IV but
loading time is very minumum.

The gameplay, storyline, graphics are the same.

Sound has been redone on Phantasy Star only.

All Phantasy Star FAQs will work on the games as I know.
