 Type the following codes as Name in the HighScore:

 NJW280172      Fast cars
 WAC271074      No Police
 RUS3L          Invulnerability
 TMR300866      Credits
 ANJW16696      Start as wanted person

 Go to the directory Data, open the file mladder with a text editor
 and erase interview and quitonfail. Now you don't have to succeed
 the driving lessons before the real game.

 ---

 How to activate all cheats in the main menu:

 Open the file mladder.dml in the \data\ directory with an editor
 (Backup it 1st - you need the original file later) and erase the
 complete text and put in only the three lines

 SETCITY [NY]
 RENDER 70
 END

 Save and start a new career, you will only see the end sequence.
 Now copy the old mladder.dml back in its place and start again.
 Now you will see that our little trick has activated all cheats
 that are now available right at the beginning.

Hidden city:
Complete the game to get access to the hidden city.

Driving outside the cities:
I found that while playing driver you can drive outside the city by first selecting the
unvulnerable code then finding a short wall on the outskirts of the city and slamming into
it until your car flips up into the air and lands on the other side. after this happens
you can drive around the edge of town and the police will continue to chase you but will
not be able to touch you. to get back in just find a low wall and slam into it until you
land back inside. i was able to drive over the water out to alkatraz island in san
fransico, you end up driving right through it.

Flip Sreen:

No Police Cars:

show the confirmation.

Steer with the Back Wheels:
Press R1, R1, R1, R2, L2, R1, R2, L2, L1, R2, R1, L2, L1 in the Main Menu. A sound will
show the confirmation.

Unvulnerable:
Press L2,L2, R2,R2, L2, R2, L2, L1, R2, R1, L2, L1,L1 in the Main Menu. A sound will show
the confirmation.

Miniature Cars:
Press R1, R2, R1, R2, L1, L2, R1, R2, L1, R1, L2, L2, L2 in the Main Menu. A sound will
show the confirmation.

Game Credits:
Press L1, L2, R1, R2, L1, R1, R2, L2, R1, R2, L1, L2, R1 in the Main Menu. A sound will
show the confirmation.

Extra Suspension:
Press R2, L2, R1, R2, L2, L1, R2, R2, L2, L2, L1, R2, R1 in the Main Menu. A sound will
show the confirmation.

You can edit your own Mission in Driver Demo (v5.6u):

Open the file Mission661.dms (in SubDirectory Scripts/Missions) with
something like notepad.

Some basic commandos:

StopPlayer                Should be at start of script
LoadMap "Map.lev"         Does not! Load a Map. Joke! Loads a map
Snowing                   Snow-effects (looks bad in my demo)
Raining                   Let it rain!
Night                     Night Driving
Darknight                 Darker than Night Driving
Foggy                     Fog
Lightning                 The Sun will shine, the birds will... OK, It is
                          what it sounds like
Cops_off/Cops_on          toggles cops on/off
SetMaximumCops x          Set maximum count of following cops
Cops_Respawn x            Set Cop Respawn rate to x seconds
SpawnCops c,x,y,z         Spawns CopCar at given coords (c is for count.
                          coords must be entered for each car)
AddCivCar a,x,y,z         Spawns Civilian, lika above
EnablePlayerDamage        Player Car takes damage
DisablePlayerDamage       Player Car is undestroyable
MaxPlayerDamage x         Set how much damage your car can take (0 to 4096*6)
CountDown x               Starts Demo-Time (disable with //)
PlayerCarType x           Set Player Car (range is 0 to 17)
ReleasePlayer             Here the Mission actually starts

To continue driving after loosing the tail, you have to change the following
lines:

Set Objective 1
NeedToLoseTail 0

The File is proceeded from line to line, so think about the right placement
for your modification!

If the game aborts while loading, something you changed has gone wrong.
Search for wrong parameters (i.e. PlayerCarType higher than 17 or too less
or too much coords for SpawnCops)
A simple rule you should follow: Don't change to much at one time
