Choro 2 Guide
(v0.01)
by Kingpin

This is info I came across while playing this game (which I think
is GREAT), hopefully it will be some help for someone.

Main Menu (1 player game)

You have 6 "boxs" which are cars in the main menu.
The top left one is Practice - where you can practice the tracks
without other cars

The top middle one is Race - here you have tracks to race, and win
money to build a better car, when you become 3rd or better on all the
tracks available, then new tracks become available until you have
done them all and then Championship/Season Mode becomes available.

The top right one is Championship/Season - here you race other drivers, and
earn points depending what place you get in the different races. I havent
played this too much yet.

The bottom left one is Car Options (is the best word for it) -
here you can buy stuff for your car, paint it, drive around in the
city (more on that below) and more

The bottom middle one is Retro - Here you can race all the tracks
from ChoroQ (the first one), read below how to activate this.
And all the old cool music is there too!

The bottom right one is Save & Exit - which is quite easy so I will not
explain this.

You can press /\ (triangle) at any time here to access your car and
change parts on it.

The Town:
Here you can drive around and find different shops which become available to you
in the Car Options menu, there is quite a lot of stuff to be found and done
here, so far I have found:
3 Car Body Shops - where you can buy a new body for your car for 500G
2 Car Paint Shops - where you can paint your car the way you want it
1 Drag Race - Not a shop, but you race 400M in a straight line
2 Car Part Shops - This is where you buy stuff for you car, like tires,
engines, gears and horns :)
*Note* To active the 2nd Shop you have to complete (3rd or better) in
the race mode, then it becomes available and you can buy some really
neat (and expensive) stuff.
1 Obstacle Course - Drive a course without hiting the markers or driving
outside the course
1 Part Exchange Shop - where you can sell off old car parts
1 Subway Track - here you can practice (and activate) the subway track.

Retro Mode:
To activate this mode, drive in the town, go to where the drag race and hit the
gas, follow the markings in the middle of the road, you will come to square with
the "under construction" thing in the middle, drive straight through that (it is

a jump ramp for you), if you have a fast enough car you will reach the clock
tower at the top, and the mode will activated.

Tire Tip:
The First set of tires you can buy (that go to +3) are for driving on cement
roads only and are not good for driving on courses with dirt roads, the second
set of tires (that go to +2 and have a square in the middle) are
for dirt roads.
