Some Crafty Advices

Q: How do I quickly gain HP?

A: When you have enough HP (like over 25), and are protected by a shield
and armor, go to the crypt in Tos. There are tons of zombies there,
and even more players. What you do is walk up to one zombie, let it
hit you, retreat to a safe corner and let other players swamp the
poor zombie. When it's killed, you might increase in HP, or dodge.
Works well if you have less than 30HP.

Q: Any tricks on wearing the circlet?

A: Wear the circlet to reduce your HP to less than 30, so that the recent
spate of random PK-ing won't affect you (only works if your HP is less
than 40). Also wear circlet when killing monsters, since your HP
increases at a faster rate when you have a lower maximum HP.

Q: Any tricks in improving spell percentages?

A: There are several. For Shali'lle's holy touch, simply cast it on
yourself and you'll advance rather quickly. For the holy weapon,
enchant weapon,, and unholy weapon spells, the trick is to hold a
weapon that has already been dedicated to another school (e.g., if
you want to increase Shal'ille's holy weapon, hold a sword that's
dedicated to Kraanan), then cast the spell. Even though the spell
fails (since it's already dedicated to another school), your
percentage will still go up. Remove curse can be cast on yourself,
even if you are not cursed and it will go up. (Contributor: Excalibur)

Q: Any tricks for budding player killers?

A: The most successful player killers are the Qor followers. The
combination of Enfeeble (reduces the victim's might) + Vampiric Touch
(sucks out the victim's HP and adds to the caster) + Invisibility has
proven to be nearly unbeatable in many occasions. With invisibility,
the caster effectively removes their presence from the game, since
even in map mode, the blue dot does not appear. All you can see is
just some wavering in light. Cast it during the dark hours for
maximum effectiveness. Using the wand of vampiric shock, budding
PKers can increase their HP to 200 by sucking the life out of NPC's.
But be warned, this practice has been outlawed by the Gods...

Q: Any tricks for player killer killers?

A: Since most PKers are red, Shal'ille spells are most effective against
them. Umbrella will hurt Qor casters quite badly. Resist Magic
(Kraanan) will deflect enfeeble, and other evil spells, and all
healing spells and the wand of healing will reduce Qor followers'
HP, instead of increasing (when the Qor followers have vamped up their
HP over the maximum). The hard lessons are: never hang around the
Flatlands in the dark; when attacking normal beasts, have your back
against the wall (so you might catch a glimpse of a near-invisible
   PKer).
