Update notes, and comments
I was quite surprised by the amount of requests I received for this faq. The 3
sites I have mentioned above will be the only sites I will send my updates to. It
will be the responsibility of the other sites to acquire their updates from one of
these 3 sites.
I wanted to wait about a month before I did an update to see all of your opinions
and feed back. I added the spell list to clarify some of my misleading comments and
hopefully I have corrected them all. I also tried to fix the typos and mistakes I
have made. Big Note: If you have recommendations for updating this FAQ please do
not take my FAQ add your changes and e-mail them to me it's rude and unnecessary.
Special Thanks:
I would like to thank Zanthia (Game Boomers) and Filby (Game Boomers- GameFaqs) for
giving me encouragement to write and complete this walk through.
I would also like to thank my wife and 2 daughters for putting up with me being
glued to the computer to complete this walk through.
Contents
1. Introduction
2. Known bugs
3. Items and what they do
4. Level items that are integral to the game and what they do
5. Spells what they do, and how many skittles the require.
6. Walkthrough
1. Introduction
This walkthrough will take you directly through the level feel free to go explore
the whole level on your own. I only mention the necessary items to get you through
the level. Try to do all you can and only use this when you're really stuck. I am
writing this the way I got through it so it might not concur with every ones way of
playing it. The 1stlevel I over detail it to get you familiar with how the game
works, after this level it won't be so redundant. This game gives you all the
necessary hints the trick is to constantly pay attention to and read the notes and
quotes in the inventory. I will occasionally add notes at the start of the level to
explain certain things. I also will fail to mention the obvious cut scenes. Also
let it be known that Skye cannot swim she sinks like a rock. The reason I listed
the level items spells and skittles is in case you lose them from the bugs I have
had them disappear on me at different times.
2. Known bugs
There are a few bugs in the game that will drive you nuts examples: Falling through
floors, ground, and missing items or spells at the beginning of a level and a few
lockups. The way I got around these were save often (quick save f2 by default) and
save at the beginning of a level or use the restart level option in the menu. I
will mention what new spells you should have and what color and how many skittles
you should have at the beginning of the level it is relevant. For the lock ups and
weird orange screen update the drivers for your sound and graphics cards and
defragging your system.
People have had problems with the orange screen since I wrote this. In the settings at
the beginning change the option from 3D to Open GL setting and this should resolve
your problem.
