Q. Who is developing Unreal II, is it still Epic Games?
A. Legend Entertainment, best known for developing award-winning
titles like The Wheel of Time, Mission Critical, and the Unreal
Mission Pack, is developing Unreal II under the watchful eye of
Epic Games.
Q. When will Unreal II be released?
A. Unreal II is scheduled for release in the first quarter of 2002.
Q. What will be the recommended system requirements to play the game?
A. Unreal II will look stunning on high-end systems, but you should
be able to play the game just fine on a P2/450 with a first generation
GeForce card.
Q. Is Unreal II a multiplayer-only game, like Unreal Tournament?
A. No--Unreal II will feature a strong single player story-based game,
as well as several multiplayer game types.
Q: Will there be any new characters introduced in Unreal II?
A: The only returning character from the first Unreal is the Skaarj.
The rest of our bestiary is all new.
Q. For what platforms is Unreal II being developed?
A. At this time, the PC is the only announced platform.
Q: Will Unreal II be shown at E3 in 2001?
A: A brief demo of Unreal II will be shown at E3, behind closed doors only.
