PART 0 Introduction
Well, the next expansion pack of NWN is in my hands. "It is done when it is
done" - yes, it is done. Bioware and Atari continue to impress us with another
their work. So in this walkthrough Part 1 explains what's new in expansion
pack and my opinion about this changes. Part 2 contains general information and
strategy. The walkthrough is already in Part 3. I've played in D&D Hardcore
rules difficulty mode as before. And I repeat again: read the game manual for
more information.

***************************************************************

PART 1 WHAT'S NEW

1) classes
There are 6 new prestige classes in NWN HoU. There is also one very
IMPORTANT addition for all classes - EPIC CLASSES!!!!. YES, now after level 21
character normal class (or level 11 prestige class) the character class is an
epic class with more opportunities in future. This is good news for multiplayer
characters (i'm not a fan of multiplayer but the fans will appreciate it) who
can feel the full power of epic classes (level 40 max). For more info about
epic classes see game manual. Here are new prestige classes.

***************************************************************
1. Champion of Torn
Hit Dice: d10
Proficiencies: all simple and martial weapons, light and medium armor
and shields
Skill points: 2+INT (intelligence) modifier
REQUIREMENTS: BAB (base attack bonus) +7 or higher, weapon focus in
melee weapon, non-evil alignment
Abilities: see manual
My opinion: Champion of Torn is some kind of fighter/paladin. Good
multiclassing option for paladin. Bonus feats are a big plus or for example
chaotic good fighter can gain some paladin abilities with this class.

Class skills: Discipline, Heal, Lore, Parry, Spot, Craft Trap, Craft Weapon,
Craft Armor
BAB per level: same as fighter classes (high)
Primary saving throws: fortitude and reflex

*************************************************************
2. Dwarven Defender
Hit Dice: d12 (!)
Proficiencies: simple and martial weapons, all armor and shields
Skill points: 2+INT modifier
REQUIREMENTS: lawful alignment, dwarf race, BAB +7 or higher, feats:
dodge and toughness
Abilities: see game manual
My opinion: Well, hit dice like barbarian. Some kind of lawful
barbarian (he-he) with damage reduction. Powerful tank if combined with fighter
feats.

Class skills: Discipline, Heal, Lore, Listen, Spot, Craft Trap, Craft Weapon,
Craft Armor
BAB per level: same as fighter classes
Primary saving throws: fortitude and will

***************************************************************
3. Pale master
Hit Dice: d6
Proficiencies: no additional
Skill points: 2+INT modifier
REQUIREMENTS: non-good alignment, arcane spellcasting level 3 or
higher
Abilities: see game manual
My opinion: Well, very interesting class. Immunity to critical
hits at level 10 is a very big plus. Very useful immunities. Try to experiment.

Class skills: Concentration, Spellcraft, Heal, Hide, Listen, Lore, Move
silently, Persuade, Craft Trap, Craft Weapon, Craft Armor
BAB per level: same as wizard and sorcerer (low)
Primary saving throws: fortitude and will

***************************************************************
4. Red Dragon Discipline
Hit Dice: special (increases from levels from d6 to d12 (epic
levels))
Proficiencies: no additional
Skill points: 2+INT modifier
REQUIREMENTS: sorcerer or bard, Lore (8)
Abilities: see game manual
My opinion: Wow, very powerful class.

Class skills: Concentration, Discipline, Heal, Listen, Lore, Parry,
Persuade, Spellcraft, Spot, Craft Trap, Craft Weapon, Craft Armor
BAB per level: same as rogue
Primary saving throws: fortitude and will

***************************************************************
5. Shifter
Hit Dice: d8
Proficiences: no additional
Skill points: 4+INT modifier
REQUIREMENTS: druid with level 3 spells or higher, feats:
alertness,
Abilities: see game manual
My opinion: Another interesting class. Try to experiment.

Class skills: Animal Empathy, Concentration, Heal, Hide, Listen, Lore,
Persuade, Spot, Craft Trap, Craft Weapon, Craft Armor
BAB per level: same as rogue
Primary saving throws: fortitude and reflex

**************************************************************

6. Weapon Master
Hit Dice: d10
Proficiencies: no additional
Skill points: 2+INT modifier
REQUIREMENTS: BAB +5 or higher, feats: Weapon focus in melee weapon,
Dodge, Mobility, Expertise, Spring attack, Whirlwind. Skills: Intimidate (4).
Abilities: see game manual
My opinion: Very strong requirements (INT and DEX 13 for all feats).
Very powerful fighter. Imagine: Weapon of Choise: Great swords + Keen feat + Ki
Critical = 15-20 threat range = 30 % critical hit chance and x3 critical
damage. Or with scythe weapon = 17-20 threat range = 20% critical hit chance
and superior x5 critical damage (!!!!).

Class skills: Discipline, Heal, Listen, Lore, Spot, Intimidate
BAB per level: same as fighter
Primary saving throws: reflex

***************************************************************

2) skills

Well, some new skills has been added to NWN HoU game. For more info see game
manual but there is only my opinion.

1. Bluff
2. Intimidate
3. Craft Weapon
4. Craft Armor

**************************************************************
3) feats
There are a lot of new feats. For more see manual.

***************************************************************
4) my character

name: Orest
gender: Male
race: human
class:sorcerer(1), rogue(4), dragon discipline (10)
alignment: lawful neutral
abilities
STR 14
DEX 14
CON 14
WIS 10
INT 14
CHA 12

My henchman was Deekin (as a dragon discipline in future) in chapters 1,2 and
Deekin with Aribeth in chapter 3.

***************************************************************

5) others

There are also some other changes.

One of the major changes is the ability to craft items (weapon, armor, wands).
You'll need a recipe and materials, some of the recipes are in the game manual.

Your henchman is more talkative and flexible. Watch his inventory to upgrade
his ammunition. You can also control his spellcasting.

The max level for your character is level 40. This is good for multiplayer.
I've managed to reach level 27 in expansion pack campaign.

There are less secondary quests then in previous NWN OC and SoU. So almost
every quest crosses main quest.

There are a lot of new items for prestige and nonprestige classes.

***************************************************************

PART 2 GENERAL INFORMATION AND STRATEGY

Increase your AC as high as possible (more then 30). My character had AC more
then 50.

How to increase AC: DEX bonus (WIS for the monk), armor (light for high DEX
characters and heavy or medium for low-medium-DEX characters), shield AC
bonuses, amulets (natural armor class bonus), deflection AC bonuses (braces,
