Fairyland, a very nifty (and free) MMORPG has a rather unique way of
fostering differing character skills and that is a 'work' or 'jobs'
system. Under this model, you can learn production and manufacturing
skills and improve the quality of items you can gather or make as you
make more and more of them.
Since there are so many possibilities, I figured this sort of guide might
be helpful. Therefore, without further ado, onto the guide!

Production work skills are the most basic skills, requiring nothing more than
a tool to perform. Also called resource harvesting skills, these are not the
best way to earn money, but they do provide the necessary resources to
do the manufacturing skills.
Please note that the Exp column indicates the amout of work experience you get
per blue/green text, not Exp toward leveling your character.
1C. Woodcutting
Woodcutting can be learned in Gion and Greenville from the shop whose roof
appears to be made out of raw timber and whose sign looks like two saws.
The Woodcutting guild can be found in Bluebird (121:152). Wood is needed to
make Swords, Blades, Axes, Maces, and some Shields.

4C. Mining
Mining is probably the most useful production skill to learn, though it can
only be learned in Illium, making it a little hard to get. To learn it you need
to go to the Illium blacksmith, who will give you a pick and tell you send you
off to work. The mining guild can be found in the Goldburg blacksmith, and as
far as I know being in the guild *does not* increase your chances of getting
rare ores. Mined items can be used to do metalworking, and the rare ores can
be cut into gems.
