[Introduction [i001]
[------------------]
Hi and welcome to my complete guide to monopoly new edition. I play this game quite a lot and when I went to see if there were any guides for it on gamefaqs I was surprised to see none. So, I sat down at my computer and began collecting notes on the game i.e. the cards and their worth, all the squares on the board, all the game options and so on. Well Ive written a few other guides for a few other games, check them out sometime. Well, hope you like my guide!
----------------------------------
[--------------------]
[About the game [atg1]
[--------------------]
Monopoly is a very old game in which players travel around the board buying properties and building hotels and houses on them. When the other player lands on one of these he will have to pay the property owner money. The player who is not bankrupt at the end of the game wins. It may seem very complicated but after while you will understand it. It’s quite simple once you get the hang of it. Well, I hope you enjoy the game and my guide.

[--------------------------]
[How to play monopoly [htpm]
[--------------------------]
The aim of the game in monopoly is to bankrupt your opponent. You go around the board buying properties and building houses and hotels on them. You start the game with £1500 though you can change the amount in the options. Once you have played the game awhile and gone round the board a few times you should have picked up most of the rules.

[The controls [tc01]
[------------------]
The controls in monopoly are quite simple, as would expect. You use the mouse to click on the objects you wish to select. Simple enough?
You may be wondering, how do you manage to roll the dice with the mouse? Well, you don't. You are required to click on the dice and the game does the rest for you. It spins the dice and throws them for you at random.
The only time you would ever be required to use anything apart from the mouse would be when you are typing in your profiles name.

[---------------------------------]
[The squares/properties info [tspi]
[---------------------------------]
Here is a list of all the squares you can land on in monopoly. Here they are in order from GO.
Go
----
Go is the first square on the monopoly board and is where you start the game from at the beginning of every game. There is a rule (which I usually like to have on) where if you land on GO you collect £400 (double money). It’s up to you if you want to turns this option on.
Every time you go past GO you collect £200.
Old Kent Road
-------------
Old Kent road along with its pair white chapel road are the cheapest properties on the board, they are the brown properties and I recommend buying these if you’re low on money.
Community Chest
---------------
The Community Chest square is a bunch of cards that when you them they can help you or hinder you, it’s really down to luck of the draw with theses cards. I will give you a list of the community chest cards further down the guide. The community chest cards are yellow.
Whitechapel Road
-----------------
Whitechapel Road is the second and last of the brown properties on the monopoly board. This like Old Kent Road is also very cheap to by and build on.
Income Tax
----------
The income tax square is as it sounds, a tax. Whenever you land on this square you have to pay roughly £200. The amount you pay on the tax can change. Its luck of the draw really because you get the option on weather to pick flat tax or percentage. I don’t think which one you pick makes much difference because you are going to have to pay money whatever you click.
Kings Cross Station
-------------------
Kings cross station is the first of the four stations in the game, it costs £200 which isn’t cheap but if you manage to collect all four stations in the game it will be worth it. I would suggest trying to get all the stations in your game.
The angel Islington
-------------------
The angel Islington is the first of the blue properties on the monopoly board. There are two other blue properties in this blue series: Euston road, Pentonville road. The blue properties are quite cheap to build on so this is a good buy with a small budget.
