Black Sea studios have announced the start of the Open Beta test for the RTS/MMO hybrid Worldshift.

The action of this game takes place in the future, thousands of years after the human population was destroyed by a mysterious object that crashed on Earth, called Shard Zero.

The game features randomly generated maps and thousands of objects that replace the classic tech trees.

The Open Beta is being hosted by FilePlanet.
