Play as Alien:
Another way to be the alien besides how that one guy said is this, "To be an
alien shoot the first three humans you see and nothing else. After you shoot the
first human s.t.a.a.r. team troops you will not be harmed by any gun fire so dont worry.
After you
shoot the third guy, you will become the alien in the main hallway for the first
level.

Start with a Shotgun:
At the pause screen press (with a controller not a gun) triangle, square,
triangle, left, R1 to start with a shotgun.

Best and Worst Endings:
For the best ending, shoot off all the panels on the Mothership. For the worst
ending, let the Mothership escape without hitting any panels.

Secret Rooms:
It seems only proper that a secret base contains secret rooms. Here's how to
find them:

Kronn Hunter Mode:
Shoot the first three S.T.A.A.R. team members at the beginning of the game. If done correctly, you
will enter Rebel Kronn Hunter mode.

Level 2: Shoot out all of the upper windows of the far back wall in
    the Hangar. Another can be found by shooting all the yellow barrels
when you are the forklift.

Level 4: Shoot every yellow box while you're riding on the STAAR jeep

Level 5: Shoot the doorplate of the second door marked General
    Weatherby as the door is opening.

Level 7: Shoot all the yellow barrels at the first area where the four
    purple zombies are throwing barrels on the hill.

Unlockables
Hard difficulty.

Complete the game on normal difficulty to unlock the hard difficulty.


Unlock the Alien Multi-player Avatar

Beat the Campaign mode on the Hard difficulty setting to unlock an alien Gray as a selectable multi-player avatar.


Easter Eggs
AREA 51 arcade game.

On the HOT ZONE mission at the beginning of the level.Hidden in a corner there is the original AREA 51 arcade game complete with red and blue lasar-light guns.


Sharks with machine gun heads

In the level "The Grays" proceed into the 4th room in the level, where you can see the monorail you entered the level from out the window. Push the computer console there and it will say "Lifter activated". Make your way back outside to the monorail, you can now stand on it. Run all the way to the back of it and you will be warped to a weird room with sharks that have machine guns attached to their heads.


Glitches
Reduce Damage When Falling From A High Place

As soon as you are about to fall, press the crouch button to reduce damage.


Secrets
Alien grenade upgrade.

In the life or death stage there is a small key on a dead soldier in the damage elevator where cole starts the level.Grab the key and open all the lockers in the level.One of the small lockers in the first power canduit pit has a databank item that upgrades the alien grenade.The grenade will now track it's target.


Secret tapes.

Find and scan all five databank items in a level to unlock the secret of that level.The final secret of the game is unlocked when all prior secrets have been found.

Kronn Hunter Mode

At the beginning of the game, ONLY shoot the first three STAAR team members you see.
If you did this right you'll enter Kronn Hunter mode.
In this mode, you are a mercenary from the Kronn hierarchy sent to steralize Area 51 of the
Kronn rebels. You will notice that the grenades, bullets, shotgun shells, and machine gun
bullets have all taken on a Kronn form. You will also gain 20,000 extra points whenever your
score is tallied, and you can shoot STAAR team members with impunity.
